All proceeds benefit the Phoenix Chapter of the Alaska State Firefighters Association.  The Phoenix Chapter  is a combined effort of Bear Creek, Moose Pass and Seward Fire Departments, and the Seward Volunteer Ambulance Corps in a joint association for advanced training and education of our emergency responders to better serve our communities.

Come out and support local teams AVTEC and Woodrow Drilling this Saturday @ 10:00am as they face one of 10 teams from around the state in this Double-Elimination adult basketball tournament (AVTEC plays at the AVTEC gym, Woodrow plays at the high school). Harlem Ambassadors are coming back to Seward THIS Friday, December 4th at 7:00pm at the High School gym! Come watch an amazing basketball show featuring high-flying slam dunks, dazzling ball-handling tricks and hilarious comedy routines. You may remember the last time the Ambassadors were in town in 2007 where they played for a packed gym against our own Seward Bears team…it was a HIT! Tickets are on sale at Sports & Rec: $6 for children and students, $8 for adults. Prices go up at the door so get your tickets early! 224-4054
