Do you know a family in the Seward, Bear Creek, or Moose Pass area in need of some extra help during the holidays?  Maybe a family that could use some extra toys, food, and/or cold weather gear?

Here are three ways you can help!

  1. Nominate a family by submitting a nomination form before December 7. Forms are available at these locations:
    • Seward Volunteer Fire Department
    • Bear Creek Volunteer Fire Department
    • City of Seward Utility Office
    • SeaView Community Services
    • Providence Seward Medical Center
    • Seward Community Library
  2.  Pick up an “angel” to shop for by visiting one of the following locations before December 14.  Buy a new, age appropriate toy, gift, clothing item, or gift card for the angel you’’ve chosen and return the gift unwrapped with the angel attached to Wells Fargo, First National Bank, Bear Creek Fire Dept. or Seward Fire Dept.
    • Alaska Shop
    • Brown & Hawkins
    • City of Seward Utility Office
    • First National Bank
    • Safeway
    • Wells Fargo
  3. Join us for the public wrapping party!
    • Saturday, December 15  @ 12:00 pm – 4:00 pm
    • Seward Fire Department (316 4th Avenue)
    • We’ll gather to wrap the gifts that have been donated, socialize, and enjoy some snacks and drinks!

Gifts will be delivered December 19 & 20 by Seward and Bear Creek Volunteer Fire Departments, respectively.  Contact 491-0089 or 422-2911 for more information.
