In the usual spirit of free and open discussion of the issue the Council will hear the pros and cons of Fluoride at the END of tonight’s meeting.

Get ready for poison in your drinking water folks and thank [Admins Note: content cut- articles must address the topic and not who may or may not agree with the author] for all these “benefits” by rail roading this through with the absolute minimum of public comment.

The fluoride sub-committee has loved citing the CDC as (in John French PhD”s words) “among the best qualified, most independent group of public health professionals found in any Federal agency”

God help us.

Once revered around the world, hardly a month passes without another news report questioning the credibility, scientific independence, and integrity of the nation’s premier health agency.

What a Surprise! A vote on the Fluoride “Advisory Ballot” right after the first weekend of Summer.

Can anyone imagine a better time for a thorough investigation by the public into this complex and controversial issue?

And with a full five day’s notice I’m sure everyone  is updating their calendars: 1) Mow lawn 2) figure out what to do with kids now school is out 3) Investigate, study and reflect on complicated bio-science of contentious public health issue and give testimony at council meeting.

The cynicism and arrogance of this paternalistic administration knows no bounds. What’s worse? They’re likely going to get away with it.
