The Alaska SeaLife Center has secured the services of SafetyEd/Deb Ajango to host a Wilderness First Aid class starting tomorrow, March 31. 

Dates:                   March 31 – April 1, 2010 (Wednesday & Thursday)
Times:                  8:00 am – 5:00 pm daily
Location:            ASLC Bear Mountain Conference Room
Cost:                     $140/person
Certification:    Good for 3 years
Notes:                  Wear clothes you don’t mind getting dirty/stained on April 1 (no joke).  Moulage & fake blood will be used in creating mock emergency scenarios.  Dress for the weather; these activities will take place outside if possible.

The class will teach assessment and management life-threatening conditions, minor injuries, and patient care in remote areas.
