Some guests at Seward hotel never checked out, rumors say

Every building comes with some sort of history. In the town of Seward, one historic hotel carries with it a myth of a woman who died in the 1950s. In tonight’s Assignment Alaska, reporter Christine Kim and photojournalist Eric Sowl take you to a hotel that some say attracts more than just the living.

Drive into the town of Seward and you’ll see it’s rich with Alaskan treasures. It’s home to Mount Marathon, the Alaska SeaLife Center — and of course you can’t forget to visit William H. Seward, the man after whom the town is named.
