Hobbit Hutch, Hidden in Plain Sight

Darling, one-room cabin in a sunny, private location on the shore of a pond with ducks and  mountain views all around. Most suitable for short humans or hobbits with a poor sense of smell. Plenty of parking, no neighbors.

It could have been a box to cover a vault for year-round DEC testing of the sewage lagoon, but Seward Public Works decided to make it functional AND aesthetic. Jason Cournoyer designed it and he and the crew built it. They named it the Hobbit Hutch.

Look for this little gem hidden in plain sight on Lowell Point Road inside the sewage lagoon fence. All it needs is a pot of red geraniums on the deck this summer. Sorry, there are no vacancies.

Kudos to the Seward Public Works Department for going above and beyond on this project.
