Full Time Property Manager Position Available
w/ Seward Properties
Busy property management/ real estate business hiring for property manager position. Start date is flexible but preferably around June 1, 2018. Job will be part-time for June, and full-time by July 1, 2018.
Responsibilities will include acting as property manager for 100 local rental units. This job necessitates excellent written and verbal communication skills as the property manager is the key link between renters, property owners, and contractors. Being self-motivated and organized is also a priority because there are many small details requiring the ability to multi-task and stay on track. Proficiency with computers and math/accounting are necessary for daily tasks such as collecting rents and issuing owner income statements. Other responsibilities include running background checks, showing rental properties, coordinating repairs, putting together leases and, most importantly – patience and a good attitude.
Customer service is our #1 priority and we take pride in friendly service. Experience in customer service is a must. Business background a bonus, though a candidate with the right attitude can be trained. Successful applicant will be expected to obtain State of AK real estate license before June 1, 2018. Employer will assist with cost of obtaining real estate license.
