Cold Climate Gardening Basics – Presentation TONIGHT – Thursday, April 19th

Seward’s Community Garden by the Bay is excited to host Casey Matney, PhD Agriculture/Horticulture from the Kenai Peninsula district of UAF’s Cooperative Extension Service to present on Cold Climate Gardening BasicsThe presentation is FREE to attend and open to the community.  This class is scheduled for Thursday, April 19th at 6pm at UAF’s KM Rae Building Auditorium (3rd Ave. and Railway).  Cold Climate Gardening Basics will cover everything from when and what to plant, to how to care for your crop and how to maximize your harvest, and will be a great learning opportunity for beginning and experienced gardeners alike.   Please spread the word to anyone you think would be interested in attending this class!
