Winter Session: Jan 10 – Mar 28 at the Alaska Railroad Terminal. Grab your bow & arrows and come down to the Alaska Railroad Terminal for target practice and to compete with other archers. Bring your own equipment or some can be made available.  Bows should be 70lbs and lower. NO crossbows!  League is open to 16yrs and up (16 & 17 yr. olds welcome with an adult).

TelAlaska Spring Classic Volleyball Tournament Sat, Apr 28th

TelAlaska and Seward Parks and Recreation are proud to present the 16th annual TelAlaska Volleyball Tournament! Get your adult (18 or older) B, C or D league team together for a great day of competitive volleyball! Tourney Format will be based upon the number of entries. $150 earlybird fee due by 4/7 deadline to enter 4/21. Call Melanie at 224-4011 or email for more info!

Teen Rec Room The Teen Rec Room located at 336 3rd Ave between the Senior Center & TYC, the Teen Rec Room hours: for Middle School & High School Students: Tue – Thu 2:30 – 9pm Friday 2:30 – 10pm, Saturdays 5 – 10pm. There is a $5 fee for the 2017-18 school year, offering healthy snacks, games, ping pong, skee ball, foosball, pool tables, computers, movies, Xbox, and more. Only participants with signed waiver/releases are welcomed to join teen Rec Room (TRR) or Teen & Youth Center (TYC) programs and activities. We thank you for your cooperation. Teen & Youth Center (TYC)

TYC After School Program- Join us for activities involving team sports, nature and outdoors activities, STEM programs, baking, crafts and more. We are a recreation based program designed to stimulate Elementary age kids physically, mentally and emotionally. Join us for a fun filled afternoon Monday– Friday3:15-5:30. Bus 3 will get you here. TYC is proud to host ‘Schools Out’ Day Camp March 9th and Spring Break Camp March 12-16th.  Your elementary school aged child will enjoy a fun filled day of indoor and outdoor activities with our professional and fun staff. Camp registration is $25 for the Day camp and $60 for the week of Spring Break, with discount available for those who qualify. Please be sure your child is dressed for outdoor play each day as we are a recreation based program and often find ourselves exploring the great outdoors in all kinds of weather.

Calling all 5th and 6th graders: The TYC Youth Council is hosting a Disco Dance on Thu, Mar 8 from 6:30-8:30. Come and groove to the music in you 80’s decade costumes and receive $2 off the entry fee of $5. Snack shack will be open and the music will be playing.
