March’s Book, The Eternal Wonder by Pearl S. Buck, is now available for checkout at the Library Front Desk!

Book Club is Coming!

Friendly Reminder that we will be meeting this Saturday, February 17, 2018 @ 11am in the Meeting Room of the Seward Community Library & Museum.


The Zookeeper’s Wife by Diane Ackerman. The book draws on the unpublished diary of Antonina Żabińska, it recounts the true story of how Antonina and her husband, Jan Żabiński, director of the Warsaw Zoo, saved the lives of 300 Jews who had been imprisoned in the Warsaw Ghetto following the German invasion of Poland.
The Community Book Club has also recently selected the books The Eternal Wonder by Pearl S. Buck (March), The Handmaid’s Tale by Margaret Atwood (April) and The Tortilla Curtain by T.C. Boyle (May) for the months of March through May.
