2018 Seward Polar Bear Jump part 1

The north wind veered away from the Seward Boat Harbor, the sun shone brightly, and the water  at around 43º  was about 15º warmer than the air for the 2008 Seward Polar Bear Jump. According to the American Cancer Society website teams and 93 participants raised over $106,904 to help fight cancer. Some jumpers were new, others were repeaters; some were scared, others bold; many had fabulous costumes, but all were very, very brave!
