Library Wish Tree Up and Ready

‘Tis the season! The community Wish Tree is waiting just for you! It is located in the library and decorated with blank sponsorship cards, anticipating you and others from our community to sponsor new library books for children and young adults. In recent years, more than 60 new books have been sponsored annually through Wish Tree activity.

The cards on the tree are generic sponsorship for one or more books at $20 per book. Any sponsor may choose to have a family name or memorial entered on a book plate to be placed in the book cover. A Wish Tree book list will be provided by the library staff, for helping to choose a specific book or have the library staff choose for you. The library museum hopes you will stop by and sponsor at least one book to offer new reading adventures for the younger readers in our community. Available during Library Museum hours and located upstairs across from the information desk.

For our repeat sponsors, thank you, stop by and give your annual sponsorship today. New to Seward’s library? Stop by and check out the tree, ask questions and choose to sponsor a new book or two! This program is a direct ‘books to shelves’ program. All sponsorship dollars are directed to putting books into young reader’s hands.

Books make the best gifts for the holidays.
