October 5 2017
0748 DRIVING COMPLAINT RP advised that a green 4 door car has a loud muffler at Bear Mountain Apts. Officer responded and unable to locate the vehicle in the area.
1445 DISTURBANCE RP, reported hearing a loud bang at 4th Avenue and no answer at the door.  Officer responded and no answer at the door.  Officer advised neighbor next door did not hear anything.
1551 911 HANG UP/MISDIAL Senior Center Elevator button accidentally pushed.  No sounds of distress.  All ok.  Officer advised.
1616 911 EMERGENCY


RP reported BRIAN LEE MORISSETTE was hitting a female at North Resurrection campground.  Officer interviewed several subjects.  MORISSETTE was arrested for Assault 3 DV and remanded to SCJ after injuries were treated at PSMC.
1922 MVA-D RP reported that he backed into a street sign and bent it, located at the Branson Pavilion at Ballaine Blvd.  Officer took photos of the damage to the sign.  Officer made contact with RP and filled out form 12-200 and provided him with the city accident form.
1950 CRIMINAL TRESPASS RP (JUV) reported a suspicious male matching the description of PATRICK WILLIAMS, came into Subway, and had a menacing look about him then left and was pacing back and forth and cursing in the 72 hour lot behind Subway.  The Subway employees request he be trespassed indefinitely from Subway property.  Officer was unable to locate WILLIAMS. He needs to be advised and it was entered into APSEN.
October 6 2017
1539 FOOT PATROL Harbor Area


Troopers arrested ERICK ANTRIM at Woodrow Street for assault 3 and transported him to SCJ
1743 CRIMINAL TRESPASS RP (JUV) reported that subject was in Subway after being criminally trespassed.  Subject left prior to the officer’s arrival.  RP did not want to press charges.
2204 TRAFFIC STOP – INVESTIGATIVE Officer contacted subject in an investigative stop at Airport Road. Officer stated he was in the vehicle on the side of the road with his lights off. subject was found to be okay.
2237 TRAFFIC STOP – CITATION A citation was issued to WOUTER DITO for failure to carry proof of insurance, and verbal warnings for speed and failure to carry registration at Essential 1.
October 7 2017


Verbal warning given to MARIA GACEL at Safeway for speed.
0543 ALARM RESPONSE RP GUARDIAN SECURITY advised of a burglary at Napa. Officer secured the exterior of the building and waited on scene until the key holder arrived.
0959 AGENCY ASSIST SAST requested an officer assist at Bear Lake Road to clear the residence.  Officers found no one in the house.
1240 TRAFFIC STOP – VERBAL WARNING Verbal warning given to TRACI LYNN BAUMGARDNER at Third and Jefferson for speed.


RP reported she was exercising her dog at Washington Street near the community gardens when a black lab attacked her dog and left three puncture wounds to her dog’s chest.  RP stated there was no vet available on the weekend and wanted the ACO staff to look at her dog.  RP tried calling the ACO cell and got no response.  Dispatch called alternate cell phone to have ACO staff meet RP at the shelter.  Officer advised.
1326 ANIMAL DOMESTIC An officer was flagged down by subject at Seward and D Street near Wells Fargo.  She stated that her black and white dog was hit and then ran off.  She left her phone number in case anyone reports finding her dog.
1618 911 EMERGENCY


RP reported a verbal and physical altercation between her husband and JOHN LUEDECKE. RP reported she was pushed during this incident and could not get up with her hip in pain. Officer separated the husband and LUEDECKE. SVAC requested a second ambulance and RP and LUEDECKE were transported to the hospital. SVFD and a Trooper assisted. The husband is pressing assault charges on LUEDECKE. Charges to be forwarded to the DA for review.
1636 911 EMERGENCY


RP reported a verbal dispute going on at the Marina Motel room with female and male. Officer interviewed subjects. Officer contacted witness at Essential 1. None of them wished to press charges. The Marina advised the people in room to leave in 20 minutes.
2321 TROOPER ARREST Troopers arrested BRETT MICHAELS for DUI and transported him to SCJ.
October 8 2017
0745 AMBULANCE REQUESTED Ambulance requested to pick up Guardian Flight at the airport for transport. SVAC dispatched.


RP who resides at Second Avenue wanted the phone number to the hospital to contact his wife who had been taken up the previous evening.  Number given and officer advised.
1123 TRAFFIC STOP – CITATION Citation issued to NATHALIE YASMINE KAROUNI at Port Avenue and Seward Highway for speed.
1601 ANIMAL / DOMESTIC RP reported two friendly black dogs wandering around Olympia Road. He tried calling the number on the tags, and he stated he had them on leashes. Officer transported the dogs to the animal shelter.
1706 ANIMAL / WILD RP reported a baby black bear up in a tree near the Qutekcak building. Officer stayed on scene to make sure people did not interfere until it left heading toward the mountains.
2120 TRAFFIC STOP – VERBAL WARNING A verbal warning was given to an Indian national VIJAY VENKATRAMANI for speed at Seward Highway and Resurrection Boulevard. 
October 9 2017
1119 FIRE ALARM TESTING Fire alarm testing at Orca Building.
1340 BURN PERMIT D81 issued a burn permit to Vigor until 10/11.
1437 DRIVING COMPLAINT RP, reported a blue 4 door sedan, unknown plate, was speeding down Ash Street.  Officer advised.
1450 911 HANG UP/MISDIAL 911 hang up misdial from 6th Avenue.  RP, was trying to call a 491 cell number.  All ok.  Officer advised.
1653 ANIMAL / WILD RP reported a crowd starting to form around a bear in a tree near the Qutekcak building. Officer made sure people kept their distance until the bear left heading toward the mountains.


1854 LOST AND FROUND Officer found a wallet on 3rd Avenue near the Qutekcak building. Wallet was placed in safekeeping.
October 10 2017
0003 TRAFFIC STOP – CITATION Citation issued to ELENNAH CAMP at 3rd Ave and Van Buren St for speed.
0012 TRAFFIC STOP – VERBAL WARNING Verbal warning given to CARSON DIEMER at Seward Highway and Hemlock St for crossing the fog line.
0059 TRAFFIC STOP – VERBAL WARNING Verbal warning given to Korean National at 3rd Ave and Jefferson St for speed.


Citation issued to MARK QUINN at 3rd Ave and D St for failure to carry proof of insurance. Verbal warning also given for driving with no headlights on after dark and failure to carry registration.
0742 MINOR CONSUMING RP, requested an Officer to the AVTEC Dorms for a student that was intoxicated.  Officer responded and made contact with REGINA HARRY and was issued a citation for Minor Consuming. 
0810 SECURITY CHECK Essential One
0814 TRAFFIC STOP- VERBAL WARNING Verbal warning given to AIDAN RUDE while driving at 3rd and Van Buren for driving with no headlights on.
1029 911 EMERGENCY


Ambulance requested to Glacierview Apartments.  SVFD/SVAC dispatched.


RP, dialed 911 to report he hit a parked vehicle at Mountain Haven.  Officer responded and made contact with RP and issued PAR Forms
1108 BURN PERMIT D81 issued a burn permit to the Transfer Facility until 10/12.
1116 AMBULANCE DISPATCHED SAST requested an ambulance to Mile 14 Seward Highway. SVAC/BCVFD dispatched.
1217 INTOXICATED PEDESTRIAN RP, reported an intoxicated pedestrian staggering on the side of the road near Napa.  Officer responded and unable to locate the pedestrian in the area.
1246 BURN PERMIT Forest Service will be burning near Mile 25 Seward Highway.  MPVFD and AST advised.
1413 AMBULANCE DISPATCHED LifeMed Alaska requested an ambulance to the airport to transport a patient to Seward Mountain Haven Fireweed Lodge.  SVAC dispatched.
1559 SECURITY CHECK Seward Plumbing and Heating
1607 ELETRICAL CALL OUT RP reported a power outage at Seward Plumbing and Heating. On call electric and water were notified. Power was restored.
1615 PARKING COMPLAINT Officer left a parking warning on the vehicle DXJ911 parked backwards against the flow of traffic in front of the Sea Bean.
2030 VIOLATE DVRO RP reported a restraining order violation and wanted to speak to an officer. Officer interviewed RP.
2045 THEFT RP reported someone had stolen her keys at Seward Market Place. Officer reviewed the security cameras and found a male with two others had taken them from the counter, and later setting them down on a store shelf after someone confronted him. RP wished to press theft charges. Officer checked Icicle, RBS, Yukon, Alehouse, Thorn’s, harbor area, and down town area but found no one matching the description. Seward Market Place was notified to give Seward PD a call if they come back; all three need to be advised they are trespassed indefinitely and one of them issued a summons for Theft IV.
October 11 2017


RP requested an Officer at the Breeze Inn for the report of an individual that appeared to be intoxicated making noise and playing the piano in their lobby. Officer responded and spoke to JONATHAN WALDEN. WALDEN was given a disorderly conduct and escorted to his room in the hotel.
1205 ANIMAL / DOMESTIC Officer found a German Shepard and Lab near the Marina Motel and contacted the owner who responded and picked them up at the Benny Benson Memorial.
1240 MVA-D Officer requested a case number for an MVA-D that occurred a month ago. 
1240 FUEL SPILL RP, reported a fuel spill at O Float.  Unable to contact any HMO personnel.  D80 responded.  HMO responded and advised USCG and DEC.
1314 LOST AND FOUND Anonymous RP turned in a brown wallet near the Seward Senior Center.  Info entered in Lost/Found Book.
1402 THEFT RP, wanted to report a theft.  Officer spoke with RP.
1402 SECURITY CHECK Elementary, Middle Schools
1408 DISTURBANCE DMV requested an Officer for a customer that could not get his ID back due to alcohol requirements.  Officers responded and made contact with subject outside City Hall.
1615 LOST AND FOUND Officer requested a case for a bike found.  A 16” bike spray painted black.
1638 911 HANGUP/MISDIAL RP accidentally dialed 911 from SCCC. No sounds of distress were heard.  Officer advised.

17-2923  THEFT 4

Officer issued a summons to MARTIN A RIOS at the Lowell Point Resurrection Bay Seafoods bunkhouse for theft 4.  RIOS and KENNETH JEROME WOODARD are both trespassed from Seward Market Place indefinitely.
2254 TRAFFIC STOP – VERBAL WARNING Verbal warning issued to SCOTT WILLIAM NORRIS at Third and D Street for speed.
October 12 2017
0101 AMBULANCE DISPATCHED Ambulance dispatched to the Spring Creek Correctional Center.


Verbal warning given to KEVIN TWING at Mile 1 Seward Hwy for speed and failure to carry proof of insurance.
