Downtown Trick-Or-Treat on Halloween from 3-5pm

There are many downtown businesses in Seward participating in this year’s “Downtown Trick-or-Treating.” This is a safe, early Trick-or-Treat experience for kids and parents in our community and a great way to thank those businesses that remain open during the winter months in Seward. You can park near the Alaska SeaLife Center and walk up 3rd Avenue or park near TelAlaska, the United Methodist Church, and Peking Restaurant and walk down. You can also make stops at Ukanuzit, the City of Seward offices at City Hall and the Annex, Hotel Seward, the Library, the National Park Service Building, the Orca Building, and Zak’s Realty. There are many more businesses participating as well. Look for the signs in windows and have a safe and Happy Halloween.

If you’re a business and would like to participate, feel free to put this pumpkin sign up in your window or contact Jim Doepken ( for more information.
