NASP (National Archery in the Schools Program)Youth Archery Schedule

Over spring break, we will have open shooting (all middle school and high school students can shoot during that time) in the Seward Middle School gym.

Saturday, March 18th – 1pm – 2:30pm

We will also be shooting on Tuesday, March 20th: (Middle School students shoot from 6:00pm – 7:30pm, High School students shoot from 7:30pm – 9:00pm)

All equipment is provided. Students can bring their own bows only if they are Genesis bows sanctioned by the National Archery in School’s Program.

With the NASP, students have the opportunity to compete in a virtual state tournament, with the possibility of qualifying for the national tournament. The cost is $8.00 and they get a high quality t-shirt. They will be scored on 15 arrows (3 sets of 5) from the 10m distance and 15 arrows from the 15 meter distance. A perfect score is 300.If your student wants to participate – please get me their t-shirt size ( specify whether it is in adult or youth sizes) and $8.00. If you are going to write a check, please write it to me (Jason Bickling) and I will pay for the costs online with my credit card. The deadline to submit the scores for the virtual state shoot is March 22nd. (We will continue to have the evening archery program after this date.)   Your student needs to have their money and shirt size in by then as well as plan on shooting to compete during one of the times listed above.
