The Seward Winter Family Movie Series returns for a second season this Friday at 6pm!  Presented by the Seward Arts Council, the Movie Series features newer, feature films with a goal of providing safe and family friendly events in Seward during the winter months when there are limited opportunities for activities that the whole community can participate in.  Two movies are shown each Friday- an earlier family-friendly movie (G/PG rated) and a later movie for young adults & community members (PG-13/R).  Movies will be shown at the UAF auditorium in the K.M. Rae building here in Seward (at the corner of Third Ave. and Railway Ave.).

This week at the Movies we’ll kick the evening off with Nine Lives (PG – 1hr 27min) at 6pm followed by Star Trek Beyond (PG-13 – 2hr 2min) at 8pm.  Admission is $2/person and tickets go on sale 30 minutes before showtime.   Concessions will be provided by Seward Prevention Coalition.

Thank you to our Partners in presenting the series: The Seward Prevention Coalition, Seward Wellness for All, and Seward Community Foundation!!!
