Parks and Campgrounds continue to provide recreation for our locals and visitors, while also shutting down some fields and parks for the season.

The new Cemetery between Coolidge and Aspen Lane has received a thorough maintenance upgrade from staff, which included reclamation of historic graves.  We report to the community our first need for cremains sites.  Because the City has been reviewing City Code and designs, we were able to meet this need without delay.  However, the City is seeking both a cemetery designer and surveyor to put our simple concepts into a working plan for the future.  City staff and volunteers are preparing procedures to public to reserve and pay for Cemetery sites or family blocks.

The Historic Two Lakes Park area now closes at 6 pm. We appreciate the watchful eyes of the public, and we request continued reporting of illegal or unwanted behaviors and uses in this and all public parks. The Police non-emergency line is 224-3338.
