Racquetball League

Racquetball enthusiasts are welcome to join SPRD’s Racquetball League. The league will run Monday nights, starting at 5pm from Oct 12th to Nov 30 SPRD can provide equipment but players are encouraged to bring their own. Season will end with a tournament for the top 6 players and a chance to take home a trophy! BBQ Recreational Volleyball League

Attention Volleyball Players! BBQ Volleyball is back! Get a team together for fun

Fall recreation! BBQ league is designed to bring together friends, co-workers and neighbors for a casual game of volleyball (only 1 competitive player allowed per team)! Call SPRD to form a team or to join a current team, see you on the court! Sign up by Oct 5th for a spot in this league! Oct 12th through Nov 30th, Monday evenings starting at 5:30pm

Glacier Family Medicine Pumpkin Prowl at Forest Acres Park

Sat, Oct 24th at 6:30pm Search for Mini Pumpkins, roast marshmallows and sip hot cocoa. Free event, fun for the whole family!



Family Masquerade Ball

Sat, Oct 24th following the Pumpkin Prowl walk on over to the Seward Resort and do the Monster Mash, enjoy refreshments and win prizes! Costume contest will be announced at 8pm– $3 in costume; $4 no costume and $10 for families.


Teen Rec Room ‘TRR’ ~ where your friends are  

The Teen Rec Room located at 336 3rd Ave (Above the TYC)  is open to middle school 2:30 to 6pm Tue – Fri and High School grades 9 – 12; Tue- Thu 2:30 – 10pm; Fri 2:30 to 11pm & Sat 5:30 to 11pm. This free program is open to Teens free of charge offering ping pong, Skee ball, computers, Xbox, pool tables and more. Call 224-4056 for more info or stop by and see us! Offsite activities include dodgeball at AVTEC, Roller Skating, Rock Wall, Basketball tournaments, shuttles to Seahawk games and much more. Come hang out with us!

TYC After School Program

TYC After School Program is in full swing. Grades K-5 are welcome to join us for some activities and excitement after school Monday – Friday. We offer a wide variety of activities daily including crafts, sports, cooking and team challenges. We offer homework help MondayThursday from 3:30-4pm and Participation in The Activity Challenge every day will earn you awards. We also offer “Schools Out” Day Camps, Programs on Early Release days and Winter/

Middle School After Hours at the TYC begins at 6pm- 10pm Tuesday – Friday and 5:30-10 on Saturday. Activities include Crafts on Tuesdays, Cooking challenges or gym time on Wednesdays, Thursdays hosts Tournaments, and Fridays are special events. Saturdays are “Up for Grabs”. We welcome all kids in Grades 6-8 to the TYC After Hours Program. And don’t forget the Teen Rec Room is open after school from 2:30 -6pm for afterschool activities for MiddleSchool aged kids as well.
