Community members are making preparations for the six-member Obihiro mural artist delegation who will be arriving in Seward this September. The City of Seward and the Seward Mural Society are working together to plan for the painting process with the visiting Japanese artists. Josh Neta, the interpreter with the Obihiro exchange students, and members of the planning committee met with him at City Hall to go over questions he had about the process.  Josh will be returning with the Japanese artists in September.

Although the design will not be unveiled until their arrival, the mural’s designated site is on the South side of UAF’s Seward Marine Center K.M. Rae Building.
