Summer is in full swing! Resource Management staff at Kenai Fjords National Park have been taking advantage of these long (and sometimes sunny) days to work on a whole host of exciting research projects. We share these experiences in the “Kenai Fjords in the Field” blog, where you can learn about current research involving glaciers, wildlife, cultural resources, and more through firsthand accounts and enjoy some amazing photos from remote areas of the park . From peregrine falcon studies along the steep cliffs of the coastline to monitoring weather on the vast Harding Icefield, these blogs offer an insider’s perspective about what it’s like to work in the field here at Kenai Fjords National Park.
