The Seward Community Library Association, SCLA, (a/k/a Friends of the Seward Library) has a new website. The community is invited to take a look at our new site and sign up for our newsletter that keeps you up-to-date with what’s happening at the Library and Museum. We also invite the community to become a ‘Friend’ of the Seward Library by filling out our Friends form. The Seward Community Library Association has been supporting Seward’s library for over 30 years, financially and through volunteer help. The Summer Reading program is being funded currently by SCLA.
Friends of the Seward Library will be hosting authors for book signings and Q&A sessions throughout the year and will be continuing the used book sales. If you have used books that you would like to donate to the Friends group, we now have a new book box at the top of the stairs, inside the library to place your donations into. Books should be in good to great condition. No magazines or newspapers, no travel books more than five years old and no romance paperbacks please.
Volunteers are always welcome and needed for many activities and events. If you are interested in volunteering, let us know by filling out our form online or contacting us by email.
