Disaster Drill Volunteers Needed

Providence Seward Medical and Care Center, in cooperation with the State of Alaska, the City of Seward and the Seward Community Health Center, is conducting a large scale Mock Disaster Drill and we are looking for volunteers interested in being made up and acting as injured victims of scenarios such as earthquakes, flooding and tsunamis during the drill. The actual drill will be a two day event on Friday, August 1 and Saturday, August 2 from 8am to 5pm BUT even if you only have a couple of hours to spare on one of those days we would love to have you participate. We expect a couple of fun, exciting and educational days!!  Volunteers under the age of 18 are accepted with parental consent. Please pass the word!!!

Expect to see more information communicated to the community regarding the drill in the near future.

Anyone interested in volunteering for a couple hours, several hours, one or both days, please call me, Kristin, at the PSMCC Lab 224-2806 or 491-1302.

For more information regarding the Disaster Drill in general please call Sara at 224-2817
