Summer weekend in Seward

Lemonade Day was Saturday. These children weren’t affiliated with that organized event for young entrepreneurs, but they made $28 dollars on Fourth Avenue near the Small Boat Harbor in two hours Sunday afternoon selling lemonade and “Mountain Water” to friends and passers-by.

A Seward Parks and Recreation Department employee spent Sunday afternoon doing trail work at Two Lakes Park, behind AVTEC.  The entrance to the park is on its way to becoming better defined and smoother, with an easier slope to walk in on, although probably still not wheelchair accessible.
