A LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM OVER THE NORTH PACIFIC IS STRENGTHENING THIS
EVENING AND WILL MOVE NORTHWARD INTO THE GULF ON MONDAY. FORECAST
CONFIDENCE IS INCREASING THAT THIS SYSTEM WILL BRING STRONG WINDS
AND HEAVY RAIN TO THE NORTH GULF COAST…PRINCE WILLIAM
SOUND…KENAI PENINSULA AND COOK INLET REGIONS STARTING MONDAY
AFTERNOON. STORM FORCE WINDS WILL ALSO BE PRESENT OVER COASTAL
WATERS STARTING LATE MONDAY NIGHT. THIS SYSTEM WILL THEN SLOWLY
DISSIPATE OVER THE GULF OF ALASKA LATE TUESDAY INTO WEDNESDAY…
ALLOWING CONDITIONS THROUGHOUT THE REGION TO SLOWLY IMPROVE.
