What started out as a day with a heavy downpour, residents and affiliates of the Moose Pass Sportsmen’s Club continued on with their annual Moose Pass Summer Solstice Festival in full spirits. But as happy festival-goers filed in, the gray skies lifted and the mountain tops exposed their white peaks of fresh snow. The festivities continued on with Smokey the Bear, live music, festival food, cold beer, carnival games and face painting for the kids, and local vendors. The longest day of the year showed its festive-spirit as the sun shined down, warming the earth and welcoming the summer season.
The Moose Pass Solstice Festival continues on today with a performance by the Elite 9, a live auction and a raffle immediately following.
