Ranger-led walks are offered at 10, 2, and 4 every day at Exit Glacier during the summer. The 1 1/2 hour interpretive walk goes very quickly and can add so much to your understanding of this amazing natural treasure, “America’s Best Idea.” Ranger-led walks are also offered to Marmot Meadows and farther up the Harding Icefield Trail. Beginning July 2, there will be a ranger-led hike to the top of the Harding Icefield Trail every Wednesday and Saturday.

Ranger “Pavilion Talks” are given daily at 12:30, and last about 30 minutes with a topic selected by each ranger. The Pavilion is located quite close to the Nature Center.

For more information, contact the Kenai Fjords Visitor Center at 907-422-0535.

You don’t have to have a guest to enjoy Your National Park, but it’s a great place to show off if you do. While you are waiting for the walk or talk,  check out the new Nature Center displays. Bring a kid!
