Burn Suspension Lifted

The following press releases were submitted to SCN from Alaska Division of Forestry and City of Seward:


The Division of Forestry has lifted its open burning suspension as of 11:00 am, June 10th 2014.  The area is forecasted to receive high winds so we are urging the public to strictly follow the specifications provided on the Burn Permit.  Attached is a media release with more information.

Permitted open burning can once again be approved.  This includes the use of approved burn barrels.  Please contact the Seward Fire Department for any burning related questions within the City limits.
