This week is sure to be another jam-packed week of fun and activity here at the senior center. Donations are still coming in for the center’s “Annual Plant and Rummage Sale”. If you have any items taking up space in your house that you would like to donate please drop them off at the center Monday-Friday 9:00am-4:00pm. If you don’t have any items to donate, but would like to volunteer to help us out with this event, please call Anna or Dana at 224-5604. The plant and rummage sale is next Friday, May 30th from 1pm-5:30pm and Saturday, May 31st from 9:00am-2:00pm. You never know what kind of treasure you might find, so please shop our sale! All proceeds from this program will benefit the senior nutrition program. Don’t just visit us for the sale though, stop by and join us for one of our fitness classed offered everyday, our daily game of “Let’s Make A Deal” at 12:15pm ,or for your chance to win an Alaska Railroad moose print. Everyday that you visit us at the center your name will be entered into our raffle for the gorgeous moose print. Fun happens everyday at the Seward Senior Center so stop on in!

Tuesdays– Weight and Strength Training with instructor Rachel Dow at 9:30am and 10:30am. Art in Motion 1:00pm. Every 2nd and 4th Tuesdays Writer’s Group at 2:30pm.
Wednesdays– Tai chi with instructor Angela Brown at 9:30am.2nd Wednesday of the month at 12pm Monthly Birthday Party sponsored by Edward Jones. 3rd Wednesday at 12:15pm Dietician Talk with Amber St. Amand.
Thursdays– Weight and Strength Training with instructor Rachel Dow at 9:30am and 10:30am. Machine Quilting at 1:00pm.
Fridays– Tai Chi with instructor Sue Cornwell at 9:30am. Core Balance with instructor Jen Dougherty at 10:30am. 3rd Friday Healthy Brunch served 10:00-11:30am. BINGO! 1:00pm-2:30pm. This Friday, May 23 is the last BINGO of the season. BINGO will resume in late September.
