If you missed this public radio broadcast on KSKA (FM 88.1) on Tuesday at 10 am, check out the on-line link to Talk of Alaska at <http://www.alaskapublic.org/2014/05/23/solar-energy-from-the-ocean>.
The Alaska Sealife Center’s amazing use of the ocean to heat their facility is explained by Darryl Schaefermeyer, Facilities Director. Not only that, but there is a tantalizing possibility of extending this energy source to heat nearby downtown Seward. Thanks to Darryl for taking the time to drive to Anchorage to participate in this broadcast, and for all the hard work by him and the ASLC staff to implement this incredible energy resource.
