Keep them coming: We’re filling up very nicely, but registration is still open for the Seward Bluegrass Camps for Kids July 7-11, and there are plenty of openings available for the adult 4:30-6 pm workshops.
Partial scholarships are still available upon request for those who cannot afford the full rate.
The main day-camp is open to those 8-16, with a new separate day-camp for those who have completed Kindergarten to age 7, with more movement and art. The camp is a great way to begin learning the basics of a variety of stringed folk instruments including fiddle, guitar, mandolin, banjo, bass, ukulele, and voice, or to improve the skills of those who already play.
Camps will be held at the Resurrect Lutheran Church and the Seward United Methodist Church, with staff concert at Resurrect Arts Coffee House and Gallery, student concert at K.M. Rae building, square dance at Senior Center, bands “busking” downtown, potluck/jam session, and more.
