Professional Staff:

Suzanne Kiechle, voice teacher

Suzanne Kiechle has been a professional vocal instructor for more than 40 years in Hollywood California, with experience in vocal rehabilitation (vocal nodes, hemorrhaged vocal cords, chronic hoarseness). She has worked with a variety of professional and amateur singers and actors throughout the years who need to improve vocal performance. Suzanne has a relaxed and non-threatening teaching style and focuses on improving technique through proper breathing and learning how to relax the vocal structure so as not to sing with tension. Please bring a piece you want to learn how to perform better as presentation will be covered. Suzanne has written a book called The Keys to Vocal Freedom.

Kevin Barnett, accompanist

Kevin Barnett has many years of experience as a performing pianist/keyboardist, recording engineer/producer, teacher and composer, and is the owner of Lovin’Dog Music in Eagle River, Alaska. Kevin performed with Air Force Bands for 21 years, and other bands in the Mid-West for several years before that.  He holds a BA in Communications and the Arts (Music – Applied Piano) from the University of Wisconsin Green Bay, and a Master Certificate in Music Production and Technology from Berklee College of Music.  Kevin currently performs with the Kevin Barnett Quartet, his Jazz group the Lovin’Dog Kennel Club, with Lee Pulliam’s AKSAXO Jazz, with the rock group Chill Factor, and with other local artists.
