LOOKING FOR OLD PHOTOS

FOR SEWARD FOLKS LIVING IN OR OUT OF STATE

Does anyone have photos of clean up in Seward during the week or so after the 1964 Good Friday Earthquake? Photos of the honey bucket truck, soldiers with their Bunny Boots standing guard, people being fed at the high school, city offices or civil defense offices with people in the hospital basement, etc. I’d like to use one or two in my last article in the series I’m writing for the Seward Journal about emergency work during the first week after the earthquake.
