The  Snow River String Band, a new bluegrass band made up of Seward and Moose Pass elementary-school age students, performed at the Alaska Folk Festival in Juneau this weekend. The Saturday afternoon show was their second folk festival performance–the first being in Anchorage in January. Their parents sent us these photos, and say they had a blast. Inspired by attending the summer Seward Bluegrass Camp For Kids, they are coached by Max and Karl’s dad Jim Pfeiffenberger, a longtime Seward musician.
