PRESS RELEASE: Anchorage, Alaska – CIRI Alaska Tourism Corporation (CATC) ranked first in the 2014 Best Places To Work in Alaska program, conducted by the Alaska Journal of Commerce. The surveys were taken by Best Companies Group last fall. CIRI Alaska Tourism Corp. took the top honor, and its parent company Cook Inlet Region Inc. (CIRI) ranked seventh among the companies who participated.
The assessment process included both an employer survey regarding company policies and benefits as well as a 78-question survey which employees submitted.
“It is an incredible honor to be ranked so highly by our employees, our most important asset,” said Gideon Garcia, Chief Operating Officer for CIRI Alaska Tourism. “We strive to be the employer of choice for our industry, knowing great employees provide great customer service.”
“When you love what you do and the company you work for, it shows in the product you deliver. We certainly take pride in sharing the best of Alaska with our visitors,” said Dee Buchanon, Director of Marketing for CIRI Alaska Tourism.
