Soil Testing and Seed Swap!

Is there something “up” with your soil that makes it difficult to grow much of anything?

Join the Resurrection Bay Garden Club this Sunday, Feb. 16, at 2 p.m. to hear Soldotna-based UAF Cooperative Extension Agent Lydia Clayton talk about the ins and outs of soil testing. This straightforward process can save loads of time by telling you exactly how you can “fix” many of your soil’s problems.

Participants are also welcome to bring new or 2013 seeds to swap ¬†after Lydia’s talk. Many gardeners find that they rarely use the contents of an entire seed packet, so this will be a great opportunity to share favorites. We will also have catalogs on hand in case folks want to go in on an order together to save on shipping costs. Following the RBGC’s last seed trade, many attendees ended up with several fun varieties to try in their gardens.

This FREE talk will be at the Seward Community Library. Hope you can join us!
