A Seedy Group

The Resurrection Bay Garden Club gives thanks to UAF Cooperative Extension Agent Lydia Clayton for her terrific talk on soil and the publications she provided! Almost two dozen participants learned a great deal about soil structure, nutrient and microorganism needs, soil testing and much more. The seed swap that followed was marvelous – thousands of seeds were up for grabs, including highly impressive stashes that were generously shared by Weezingreens’ Carol Souza, Lydia Clayton, Lori Draper, Judy Rough, CJ Rea, Carol Conant, Katy Turnbull, Deanna Trobaugh, Rebecca Brown and others.

Special thanks also go to the folks who helped with meeting setup and snacks, and Carol Griswold, who donated several gardening-related books to anyone who wanted to take them Sunday.

If you would like to be added to the email list for future RBGC events, please send your address to 4seadogs@gmail.com.
