This Week at the Seward Senior Center…

Delicious, hot lunches served daily at noon.  Drop in fitness classes every morningMonday, Pinochle at 1:00pmTuesday, In The Arts 1:00pm.  Come in and brush up on your own talents, or help another develop their talent.  2nd and 4th Tuesdays, Writer’s Group at 1:00pm.  What’s your story?  Thursday, Machine Quilting at 1:00pmFriday, Brunch 10:00am to 11:30amBingo this Friday will be 11:45am to 1:15pm.  The center’s End of the Trail Gift Case is open daily and offers one of a kind gifts for all ages.  Shop locally and save!  The center also has ice cleats for sale.  Cleats are $20 a pair.  Come get yours and save yourself from a fall on the ice.  If you haven’t yet bought your raffle ticket for the “Purple Interpretations” Quilt, come on in and do so!  This beautiful quilt may be viewed here at the center.  Tickets are $1 each or six for $5. This Friday, January 17th come warm up with the Polar Bear Soup Supper located at the Seward Senior Center, 336 3rd Ave.  Requested donation is $5 per person or $20/family.  10% of the proceeds will be directed to children who live with cancer on Kenai Peninsula and the rest of the funds will benefit He Will Provide Food Bank and the Senior Nutrition Program.  The Supper is 5:00pm to 8:00pm and during that time there will be a silent auction.  If you would like to help out at this event we are seeking volunteers.  We are also accepting donations of items for the auction and soup and bread donations for the supper.  Please call Dana or Anna at 224-5604 to sign up.
