Seward Chamber of Commerce presents awards

From the Seward Chamber of Commerce -maya

The dinner Community Awards presentations at Chinook’s Saturday evening was just a heck of a lot of fun.  Can’t wait to see what we might ‘cook up’ for next year!

Maya Moriarty received the Person of the Year award, Joe Tougas of Catalyst Marine Engineering  was the designated Business Person of the Year, and Woody’s Thai Kitchen received the Business Site Improvement award.  Marie Fletcher, The Liberty Theater, received a plaque in appreciation of doing business in Seward for over 50 years; while Hugh and Iris Darling’s plaque read “Brown & Hawkins, over 100 years of business in Seward”. Congratulations to all nominees and winners, your contributions to the community are very much appreciated!
