Seward Community Library Museum will begin a drop-in Library Tech Help Program this week. This new program is funded by the Alaska OWL Project, and designed to help you use computers, the internet, and other library technology tools more effectively and efficiently.
Sessions will be held Tuesday evenings from 5-6pm and Saturdays from 1-2pm. Each week, the Library’s OWL Internet Technology Aide will highlight a digital literacy topic focusing on computer use skills and library technology resources, but anyone is welcome to drop in with any library technology questions.
This week’s sessions will focus on how to use Listen Alaska to download e-books, audio books and music for free using your library card. Attend any session to learn the basics of Listen Alaska, and get started with your e-reader.
Contact the Library at 224-4082 for more information, and updates on this new program.
