Burning Bush Thanks Seward

Local band Burning Bush would like to sincerely thank the community of Seward for its warm reception at the premiere concert of their debut album, “Honesty in a Box.” We are amazed at the outpouring of support and interest from the community. There are many factors that contribute to a great concert. A great audience is certainly one. Thank you for helping make the show so memorable and enjoyable.

Burning Bush would also like to thank Phyllis Shoemaker and the UAF School of Fisheries and Ocean Sciences Seward Marine Center for the generous use of the Rae Building. Also, thank you to the Doepken family for their many contributions, including a talented opening act and sound assistance. We appreciate Seward Methodist and Seward City churches for the use of sound equipment. Also, thank you to Mark Teckenbrok for the use of one of his amps.

If you missed the concert, you can experience the album for yourself. The album is available locally at Resurrect Art Coffee House, Hair by the Bay, and through band and family members. You can also request one by emailing Concert footage and other info is available on the Burning Bush facebook page at If you have footage of concert we would love it if you shared it with us!

Thank you, Seward!
