Dan BigleyBear Attack Survivor and Author to Speak in Moose Pass in November

Dan Bigley, survivor of a 2003 brown bear attack at the Russian River, will speak at the Moose Pass Sportmen’s Club on Thursday, November 14th at 7:00 p.m. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. This event is free and open to the public courtesy of a grant from the Moose Pass Sportsmen’s Club.

Dan Bigley, author of “Beyond the Bear: How I Learned to Live and Love Again after Being Blinded by a Bear” will be in Moose Pass to talk about his book, offer a question and answer period, and have books available to purchase.

Dan came to Alaska looking for adventure but found his life take a fateful twist one July evening while returning to his car after fishing on the Russian River.
