The polls are open TODAY, Tuesday, October 1st from 7 am to 8 pm. Seward and Lowell Point voters will vote at the KM Rae Marine Education Building at 125 3rd Ave. Bear Creek voters will vote one last time at the current Bear Creek Fire Station at Mile 5 Seward Highway.
Be sure to bring your SIGNED voter ID card, or other ID.
Anyone who can not physically get to the polls today can ask a friend to bring them a Special Needs Ballot. Those who are not sure if they are qualified to vote can vote a Questioned Ballot at the polls.
Seward voters will choose a new mayor and three council members.
Should the seated Council member be elected mayor, the council will elect a qualified person to fill the vacancy until the next regular election. The notice of this procedure will be widely advertised.
