The Prince William Sound Regional Citizens’ Advisory Council [PWSRCAC] will hold its Board of Directors meeting in Seward this week. As a community that was seriously affected by the 1989 Exxon Valdez Oil Spill, Seward has a stake in the environmentally safe operation of the Alyeska terminal and associated tankers. This is the primary mission of the Council.
The Board meeting begins at 0845 on Thursday September 19 and carries over to Friday the 20th. The meeting will be held in the AVTEC Culinary Building on Third Avenue. The public and interested organizations are invited to attend.
The public is invited to a reception hosted by the RCAC from 1730-1930 on Thursday evening at the SeaLife Center.
