Seward’s 110th Founder’s Day Celebration August 28

The Resurrection Bay Historical Society and the City of Seward would
like to invite all residents to a public celebration event for:

110th Anniversary of the Seward’s Founder’s Day

Seward Library Museum, located at 239 Sixth Avenue
(on the corner of 6th & Adams)
Wednesday, August 28, 2013 from 2:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.

There is no charge for this event, and the Library Museum will be open
throughout the day. The program will consist of special museum
displays, movies, and presentations.

Dignitaries visiting from our Sister City in Obihiro, Japan to
commemorate this event are:


*        Mayor Norihisa Yonezawa

*        City Council President Katsunori Nohara

*        Mayor’s Office Manager Toshihiko Sekiguchi

*        International & Domestic Relations Section staff members
Takahiro Nishioka and Josh Neta

Please bring your family and friends and join us for activities
throughout the afternoon.  Refreshments will be served.
