Today is the last day of our 2nd annual Seward Subway Swim Camp. Forty-three swimmers attended swim camp this week, and along with our local Seward swimmers, had swimmers from Homer, Kenai, Kodiak, King Salmon and Anchorage.
We want to thank our sponsors Seward Subway, Hertz of Seward, and all of the parent volunteers that made this year’s camp the best yet. Thank you to our coaches from the University of Wyoming; Head coach Manny Noguchi and his assistant coaches Sam King and Matt Leach for conducting a professional and positive swim camp for all levels of our swimmers.
Thanks to the Seward High School principal, Trevan Walker, and his staff, especially Penny Duncan and Silvia Ingram and the hard working electrical crew , for the space to conduct our camp. You all are awesome!
Seward Tsnuami Swim Club (STSC) will be starting up after high school swimming is completed in November, watch for our pre-register packets to come out soon. We will have a Fun Swim Day and tryouts for new swimmers before the start of the season. Questions about the STSC program can be directed to Mary Tougas at the STSC email address: email@example.com or talk with any of the STSC board members.
