Public seminars by Dr. Jane Lubchenco

Jane Lubchenco, Distinguished Professor of Zoology and Valley Professor of Marine Biology, Oregon State University will present two public seminars at UAF in Fairbanks. Both will be available to view via video conference at the Seward Marine Center K.M. Rae Building, 125 Third Avenue.
The first seminar, which should be of interest to the general public, is titled “The Silly to the Sublime: Stories about Science in Washington D.C.” and will take place Thursday, August 29 from 6 – 7 p.m.


The second seminar, geared toward advanced students and adults, is titled “Science Serving Society: Achieving Real-World Solutions” and will take place Friday, August 30 from 3 – 4 pm.
