Ellie, the first viable sea lion pup born at the Alaska Sealife Center, will be available for public viewing today, Sunday, August 18, from 5 to 8 pm with her sleek, beautiful mother, Eden. After this date, it is not known when she will be in the sea lion habitat.
All during the Seward Silver Salmon Derby, Ellie, only 8 weeks old, has enchanted visitors with her antics and curiosity as she learns about her new world, often interacting with visitors.
Be sure to allow enough time to check out the myriad of amazing animals on display, including the two baby sea otters, harbor seals, seabirds, salmon, skates, seastars, jellies, lumpsuckers, and other incredible other-world species.
Summer hours are 8 am to 9 pm Friday-Sunday, and 9 am to 9 pm Monday-Thursday, until September 1.
Please consider becoming a member so that you can visit this spectacular facility anytime while supporting the Alaska Sealife Center.
