Went to see this twice. There is a lot of information in the movie about the 13th amendment and how important it was to Lincoln to get the amendment passed. Fantastic acting with well known screen actors. Plus, the pop corn at the Liberty is the best!

Ditto that. It was a fantastic movie and a great way to get a history lesson that wasn’t in the least dry or boring. I was struck by the parrallels with then and today, Lincoln’s political struggles and Obama’s. Plus, for the price it’s the best deal in town.
