The City of Seward and the Seward International Friendship Association (SIFA) are seeking up to four high school students who would like to participate in the student exchange between Seward and our Sister City of Obihiro, Japan. Japanese students will come to Seward in late July/early August, and then the Seward students will travel to Obihiro for approximately two weeks in August. The program is operated by the City Clerk’s office through the Seward City Council. Applications are available at the high school through Martha Fleming or the main office, at the Clerk’s office in City Hall, or on the city’s website at www.cityofseward.us. The deadline for student applications is Tuesday, January 15, 2013 at 5:00 p.m. Please turn applications in at the high school or Clerk’s office.
