Health Fair this weekend.

The annual Seward Community Health Fair is coming. Mark your calanders for Saturday, October 20, 2012 from 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM

This years Fair is sponsored by the Seward Rotary Club and AVTEC. It will be held at the AVTEC Gym located at 519 4th Ave. There will be free health education, and free health screenings such as blood pressure, vision, dental, and glaucoma. There will be numerous exhibitors teaching health and safety topics.


Low cost blood testing will once again be offered. A 27 test Chemistry/Hematology profile (including cmp, cbc, and lipids)  $45 . Folks should be fasting for 12 hours if they desire cholesterol testing. Be sure to drink plenty of fluids (such as water-no sugary drinks!) to be well hydrated for your blood draw. TSH -Thyroid Stimulating Hormone, $ 30. PSA- Prostate, $25 Vitamin D, $50. A1C (3 month average of blood sugars), $25 ABO/RH Blood Typing only $20 .
